About the Shop
The Children’s Rights Shop exists to make children’s rights visible, understandable and part of everyday life.
It is a social enterprise of the Children’s Rights Alliance (trading as Children’s Rights Queensland). The Shop operates nationally and offers carefully designed resources that help children, families, educators and communities learn about and engage with children’s rights as set out in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
The shop was founded in 2021, and has worked to build understanding, raise awareness and amplify children’s voices. We translate children’s rights into practical, engaging and accessible tools that can be used in homes, classrooms, services and community spaces.
By making children’s rights accessible and practical, the Children’s Rights Shop helps embed a rights-respecting culture in everyday settings.
Importantly, proceeds from the Shop directly support the work of Children’s Rights Queensland, including things like:
- Free resources for children in out-of-home care and those experiencing disadvantage
- Community education and awareness initiatives
- The delivery of Children’s Week
- Advocacy and engagement that centres children’s voices
Run by volunteers, driven by purpose
The Children's Right Shop is a nonprofit volunteer-run social enterprise. Every purchase made through the shop helps sustain our work and expand our ability to reach children and communities who need it most.
When you shop with us, you’re not just buying a resource, you’re supporting a movement that believes children’s rights matter, every day.
